Mailboxes in Binjing

Every resident and citizen of Binjing is entitled and required to have a mailbox. The mailboxes can be found on the ground floor of the Party Office.

Your first mailbox is free, but you can purchase additional mailboxes for 5cc per week. Contact the Minister for Administration to purchase an additional mailbox. You can use these other mailboxes to, for example, have a separate mailbox for your business.

You are free to choose your own mailbox number, as long as it is not already taken. The mailbox numbers are in the range of 10 through 89. You can change to a mailbox with a different number at any time.

Requirements

Every resident is responsible for the maintenance of their own mailbox. A mailbox must comply with the following requirements:

  1. There must be a spruce sign on the front of the mailbox, filled out with the following information, line-by-line:

    1. 【 XX 】”, where XX is the number of the mailbox (e.g. “【 15 】”).
    2. An empty line.
    3. The name of the mailbox owner. If the full name is too long, a shorter version may be used, as long as it is clear who the owner is.
    4. An empty line.
  2. The sign must be dyed white, and waxed. It must not be glowing. These can be found within the back of the mail room and should only be used for the purpose of the mailboxes.

If you move to a different mailbox, you must remove your name from the old mailbox, and make sure it is no longer dyed or waxed. The new one must, of course, be properly set up as well.
