Local Unit Evictions
Party Secretaries may evict residents from their Local Unit at their discretion. They should always act in the best interest of the province and the Party when doing so.
Eviction Notice
To begin an eviction, the Party Secretary issues an eviction notice to the resident. The notice must include:
- The date it was issued.
- The deadline for compliance, which must be at least 7 days from the date of issue. This can be reduced to 5 days if the resident has failed to pay their most recent Dwelling Tax.
- Optionally, any conditions under which the eviction will be cancelled, such as paying back owed taxes.
The eviction notice must be posted in the appropriate channel for the Local Unit. A copy must also be delivered to the Central Government.
Outcome
Once the eviction period has passed or the eviction has been cancelled, the Party Secretary must notify the Central Government of the outcome.
If the eviction is carried out, the resident loses their residency and, if applicable, their citizenship. The Party Secretary takes ownership of any belongings left behind. Any currency left behind must be added to the Local Unit Treasury.
Both Party Secretaries and evictees should read the server rules regarding evictions to ensure compliance. Reach out to the Minister of Administration if you have any questions.
